I bought this to replace a $100 bit set I bought off ebay (4 of which broke - you get what you paid for, I think) - this is the bit amazing - cuts through MDF like butter (like another reviewer said). I also noticed that it doesn't burn MDF like other router bits, which I think is dangerous. I've used it for MDF, aspen board and composite board. Works perfectly. I will definitely recommend it. I plan to replace my existing beats with Freud's beats when I take a break.

I've been buying grizzly products lately. If I use a particular tip so often that it wears out or breaks, I can justify buying a Freud or some other better brand. This is a beat I ripped out of my Grizzly set. I replaced it with this one. So far he has done an excellent job. The only complaint I have so far is that the shank is longer than the drill it replaces and almost too long to fit in the case I have for it. Other than that, there's not much to say about the router bit.

I have had other brands of cutters, some performing well and others broke without working at all. Freud bits are of the highest quality. This bit worked like a hot knife in butter with precise cuts. I will change other bits for this brand. Freud bits cost little extra and the quality is in the performance. I recommend these bits to anyone looking for years of service with superior accuracy. light five stars.
