I ordered remotes ONLY to replace my old ones that were about to die. You must email the instructions according to your vehicle type. I didn't want to wait so I just googled how to sync the remote to my car which was done in 10 seconds. I've abused them a bit and they hold up. Paying $30 for two sure hits is better than $80 for one. 4 stars due to the extra step required to get instructions for your vehicle.

Case quality is a bit cheap but look at the price what do you expect. They work however and they work just like the OEM. Not to mention you can buy 10 of them for the price of 1 OEM. I would give 5 stars if the plastic was a little better but that's it for the price. I will buy the exact same ones if they ever break. Programming on the Silverado pickup only took 5 seconds, and that's no exaggeration either.

Great replacement, very similar to my new 2007 Chevy Silverado body style. It has remote start and appears to have the same extended range as the factory unit (around 200 feet). Very easy to program following the instructions. BUT ALL remote controls must be programmed during the process. Found this by programming a new one with the original.
