I use these Dixie Heavy Duty paper plates for me and my cat - they don't absorb moisture. I put snacks or lunch/dinner on a plate or two for myself and cat food (to which I even add a little more water) for my Cee Cee. I can take these plates by the rim and the rim won't flex because it's wet or damp.
