So I bought the main roller with the casters for the bottom of the ladder and everything on eBay and then bought the extension track on revain. Overall, it does the job pretty well. If you have the time to return one with very crooked mounts or tools to grind/cut and reweld one it's fine. 2 of the 4 I purchased were not straight enough to use. Also the O-rings for the extensions are too big on some causing more problems.All that said it is sturdy and cheap so if you can fix (or wait for them to fix) the bad parts it's worth it. If you need it right the first time out of the box it's a gamble and I'd buy something else.

I installed this hardware on a customers existing loft ladder (made from heavy 2"x 6" lumber) and it works great. However, it does move quite easily and the ladder will move around while you are climbing it. Is there a brake that can be added to the floor wheels to prevent this? I purchased the full kit with rolling wheels as well as three additional extension rails in order to make a rolling ladder bookcase. I was shocked to find the mounting brackets were welded completely out of line. The brackets were improperly welded to the rails, making it impossible to correctly install this item.Furthermore, one of the rails is not uniform with the other three, with smaller sized brackets welded on the rail. This worked wonderfully for my build. I was under the impression from Q&A for their kits that the bottom roller wheels weren't included, but this particular kit did include those wheels which made it an even better value for the money. Heavy-duty and sturdy pieces that were easy to assemble on a homemade ladder. My wife has been after me to get her a ladder for our library for more years than I care to think about and I wouldn't want anyone to know how long that was! This kit was easy to install and moves extremely smoothly. It would have made building the ladder easier if they had had some basic guidelines in the instructions. A few web searches provided the information to design and build the 9 foot ladder. I used red oak which made a heavy and solid/sturdy ladder. Movement is easy and I added to the width making the travel 12 feet. The total of wood and additional track was less than 80.00. This is a great value and quality kit.

Used this for a custom built rolling ladder and bookshelf. I was fortunate to find these rollers that fit 3/4" pipe, so instead of the enclosed short piece of pipe, i used a 10 ft segment of structural piping. Much cleaner look in my application. The product received was as described. The instruction sheet however is a little sparse on detail so you may need to do some roller fitting prior to fastening down. The hardware is sturdy. Once installed, it seems very unlikely that the rollers would slip or fail with a person on the ladder. The rail screws are a little short. First the rail.Went like clockwork. No problems. Because of other reviewers saying how bad the screws were I went with 1/4" bolts instead. First off I made a test with a scrap board with 2 rails mounted on it. Then attached one of the ladder rollers on a scrap 2 x 4. Needed to make sure where to mount the running board for the ladder to clear the ceiling beams. None of the rail brackets were off center and all bolted into the board without problem. This product looks and works great. The wheels roll smoothly and it is very sturdy. If you are a dyi person you can install this hardware on a ladder. Would recommend!

Nice item. We are installing a loft ladder in our tiny, and adding a rail on the storage loft as well, so we can flip the ladder over there when needed.

Worked out great and the only reason for not giving it a five stars is because there is no way to stop it from moving but sturdy looks great and easy to assemble

Great track and rollers. They provide easy to use calculations in case you slept through 8th grade geometry. Rolls great, looks good. All these tracks are pretty pricey, this one is slightly more reasonable, but still too expensive for what it is.

Be prepared to wait at least 2 months for this to ship overseas. There are no instructions included so you better be handy to put this to use. We also bought an extension kit and there was nothing included to join them together. It seems to function well and is of good quality.
