Nice product. Well made. Not an easy install without adequate instructions. Some of the instructions weren't right. If you are good with IKEA instructions you will probably be ok with these. You would likely need to spend some time really taking into account the door size, ceiling to floor, where you want the stops, etc. We first used the measurements in the instructions and drilled holes in our door and they weren't right. We had to patch and re drill.We were finally able to get the mount up…

Poor quality control, tons of waste.

Took forever to install. I ordered a bypass. I got to regular. Maybe that’s the way they want to do it but I’ve bought better. Missing half the bolts. Each ten is separately wrapped in plastic and then boxed which just seems wasteful. Well. Not just. It’s also a pain in the a$& to open all that tiny junk. I am noooot pleased. But it works and I’ve put so much time into it that I’m not starting over.

Please read this! - my new review

First of all the instructions were not very good as others have stated. Even if you follow the video, the spot that you put the rollers came in conflict with the ceiling above. I would say on these there’s no room for error. They should give you a template to install the brackets at the top to make it easier. Also, if your ceiling is not level as the area that we put these doors were, then you have to adjust the rollers which you cannot do besides re-drilling a new hole. My suggestion as a…

Sturdy, modern, pain in the arse to install.

This is the perfect barn door if you have limited overhead room. Its not easy to install. It takes a little thinking outside the box. Two contractors wouldn't attempt it. My engineer, tinkering brother-in-law and I installed it. Don't trust the destructions. Yes, destructions because that might as well be what you do with them.

Missing parts, cant install until HD Hardware replies back and sends us the bolts!

So far 2 stars. Item came missing needed bolts. I sent message to HD Hardware to get replacement and have not received a response. This is holding up my GC and crew from installing the door we purchased this for, and until I get these parts we are stuck. Awesome Purchase for my opinion

I had been looking for something to close off a space that did not have a header area above the opening and this fit the bill. It is nice to look at and did not cut into the opening's clearance very much at all. This item is sleek and beautiful to look at. We are very happy and would definitely purchase it again. Extra work recommended to mount

DO NOT use the mounting screws included unless installing into wood. It works wonderfully and looks great but be prepared to do a little bit extra to mount. In retrospect I would mount a 1by into the joists then mount the bracket to that. The mount points are fixed and not in line with standard joist width.

The coolest on my review.

I modified my door with iron arms so that it was suspended, leaving the top shelf of my pantry exposed. As others have stated, the directions are vague and there is a lit of trial and error getting it where you want it. But once it is up it looks amazing

Not usable on my review.

Unfortunately, my husband did not get around to this project for a year. When we did, we saw that the brackets are not flat and there is no way to fix. $170 down the drain.

Replaced a standard door with a barn door to conserve space in a tiny bathroom with a low ceiling. Heavy solid core door rolls quietly and smoothly on this high quality hardware that was needed for this highly specific application.

Did not receive all necessary hardware to install. Missing 3 ceiling mounts brackets 4 wheels and specialty bolts. 2 floor guides.
