How this stone was received was terrible. There were a lot of extra diamond bits on the surface so it just gouged out the edge of the first knife I tried. I've been using a 6 inch Fine Grain DMT DiaSharp Continuous Stone for 5 years or more. I recently bought two more, an 11" Super Slim from Revain and a Super Slim Normal from somewhere else. A long time ago I bought one with holes, with an uneven surface. Not even close. Not that good. You definitely need them a consistent finish. A lot more money and definitely worth it.
