Amazing Shock Best in Suspension

This shock replaces the Zero Adjust Fox Vanil shock. This replacement is 100 times better. Thicker spring, adjustable, the adjustment works great and looks good, oh yes, the price is awesome too. Feel free to buy. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Pros
  • Spring: Coil Spring Purpose: AM FR DH
Cons

Great Bang For The Buck

Needed a shock to replace the FOX RP3 I had on my 2007 Yeti 575 ASR Long Travel. I have to say this shock is way better than my FOX RP3 air shock that I had on the bike. The rebound and compression settings work great. The bike feels a lot better when tearing through roots and rock gardens on the trail, and also feels a lot softer than my FOX RP3 air shock. The only thing I had to do to install the shock was trim the bushings that came with the shock. I also changed the spring to FOX Steelโ€ฆ

Will not fit 2016 Kona Process 134

I was keen to try this damper as my riding style and long rides/descents, really piggybacked shock I've been on There was supposed to be an enduro race with a downhill track, mostly by lift, and that was supposed to replace my airshock I screwed on my Monarch RL and noticed the first positive thing: the 8mm shock fits with the supplied DNM bushing. It was good. Also, the piggyback mount hardly seemed to move out of the frame. I then tried to insert the end of the shock (the end next to theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Includes additional 50 x 8mm (1.97 x .31") bushing as shown
Cons
  • Legacy model

Probably the best shock for you, Dollar

First impressions really good with this shock. Impressive quality for the money. I have a 2010 GT Force Carbon Expert and the original Fox RP23 ended up completely burning out. I find it difficult to justify the cost and time involved in sending in a shock for repair/rebuild. After much research into alternative shocks, I found someone who installed a shock with a different brand of coil with positive results. It's hard to tell how well anything can work with this suspension design, especiallyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weight: 1016g = 2.24lbs Spring rate: 550lbs Damping: 4 systems Settings: rebound/compression/preload/high compression/hard shock setting
