🚚 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 2 1/2 to 2 Inch Hitch Receiver Adapter - Genuine OEM Mopar Review

Bought a 2017 Ram 2500. I ran to the auto parts store and ended up buying two of these and not one, the holes didn't match. it fits perfectly. The rest hangs like a load in the bed.

I bought this based on all the positive reviews hoping it would fit my F250. Of course it fit perfectly and was much tighter than the previous one I used which is what I wanted. Good product!

Works great for it's intended purpose. Little can be said of a square steel tube designed to fit inside a large steel tube and around a smaller one. The finish seems pretty solid and all the holes align properly.

Just what I needed and fits great, much better than the cheaper generic I've used before which had to be carefully positioned for the job. This will appear and line up just right.

Perfect for my RAM 2500! I bought one of these from a local department store and it didn't have a lip to keep it from sliding too far into the receiver. pain to align everything. This one slides completely and aligns the holes perfectly!

This is an OEM part. I left the original that came with the truck in the receiver with no pin to secure it. He's obviously gone somewhere. I went to the RAM dealer to have it replaced and was told to replace it. I found this online, it was an OEM part and the service was quick. Definitely recommend the product and the seller.

Of course I lost my first hitch adapter because I forgot to remove it so I had to buy this one (part number 68165918AA). This is on my 2021 RAM Diesel 4x4 with a 6ft 4" bed and it looks and fits just like my old adapter. When I got this new one I painted the end orange so that after removing the 2" drawbar this adapter would stick out and yell "Get me out and put me in a truck." :-) I didn't forget to remove this adapter. beautiful.

Functionally as far as OEM parts are concerned it is exactly what it should be but cosmetically I was expecting more attention to detail. It came in the original Mopar packaging with "Made in Mexico" written directly on the front of the bag. The unit itself is the right size - it fits my 2016 2.5" RAM 2500 receiver with little clearance between the adapter's OD and the original/standard receiver's ID, and the pinholes line up perfectly. when the adapter is fully inserted. Not many people with specific sizes in their reviews so I was worried about buying a product without all the specs.
