Good collar - Electronic training collars

This is a good collar but every time I turn off the remote it beeps, I don't like it because my dog thinks he has a problem. Otherwise a good collar.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Does the job! fits collars

Excellent product. The only problem is that I want the battery to last longer. but i put the collar on my dog and just gave him a warning beep before hitting the vibrate button and now he is very responsive. So far I have not used the "SHOCK" function. (Next to me to test and it works great) Will probably order again for my other dog.

  • Hands free operation

So far so good with the electronic training collars

We've had it for about a week now. So far I've only used beep and vibration. Vibration only if she doesn't listen to the beep. She knows when we say NO that she has to stop what she's doing and we don't even have to honk her horn. I think it has good potential with constant and careful use. Remember that you need to keep an eye on your dog and interact during training. And the lock feature only works if the person you don't want to use it for doesn't unlock it like my 5 year old mischievousโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best of all
Cons
  • Only available in black

Game Changer: Dogs

Okay, this is the only stun collar we've ever used, but we love it. We have a Labradoodle and his hair is very thick and curly so we had to shave some of his neck to make it work. We have been training with him for a month and our dog has grown into a great walker and his evaluation is very reliable. We always vibrate first and if he doesn't obey we shock him. We only had to shock him twice, now he only reacts well to vibrations. We've also trained a strong recall with a beeper and have yet toโ€ฆ

  • Concise Guide

This is the only e-collar I will be buying, my first one I bought for my Doberman in 2018. It only came out this year so I went back to my purchase history and bought a newer version. The new one has an on/off button on the collar itself, which is good for saving battery when not in use, although the old collar's battery life is great! This is an amazing collar, it works well, sometimes I've used it when he was outside and I was inside, I signaled him to stop barking and he understood that wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

We didn't want to go that route

Watching our oldest son's dog settle into his new home, a cute puppy named Charlie. Charlie will never get hurt, he's just a great protector! He just never wants to listen and buy the house rules. Before we go any further I have a total of 3 dogs of all different breeds and they are all rescued. The other two adapted quickly here, and when asked for something, they listen and obey 95% of the time. Charlie on the other hand does pretty much the opposite, always jumping on furniture and justโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Electronic Training Collars
Cons
  • Updates

I bought this shock collar for my Doberman a few years ago so he can stop her from getting off to run away from their house or car and to study. The one I bought back then was PERFECT. I never have to shock her (which I prefer) because the beep is enough to distract her and she just listens with the beep. I also LOVE the fact that you can connect multiple collars to one remote. And it was very easy to do without getting the instructions again. This time I bought it again when I got my chocolate

Pros
  • Collars, Harness & Leashes
Cons
  • No Instructions

The remote control is TOO BIG - didn't work with my dog โ€‹โ€‹

The remote control is HUGE. If you want to use on the go, this is literally the size of a '90s cellphone (okay, it's a little smaller than those). Telephones in the early 2000s. ;) I liked it, it had many settings and it could reach up to 300 yards. The remote control is so big that it was completely impractical. Aside from the size of the remote control, the collar did not fit my dog. My dog is a Husky, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, and Chihuahua mix. Very athletic and intelligent dogโ€ฆ

Not waterproof at all!

We ordered an additional dog training collar receiver because we have two dogs and want to control both dogs' collars from the same transmitter. The collar was easy to pair with the transmitter, just make sure the transmitter is unlocked and the dog training collar receiver is charging. Not sure -----------? charging time. When we need to charge for the first time, we will update our rating. Lost 1 of 4 battery bars after two days of use. Pros ------ + An extra USB charger is included with theโ€ฆ
