Zero product support.

My ball head, like many others, started playing a lot after 8 months of use. I can't straighten my shot in any way, and in windy weather my camera moves, making night shots in windy conditions impossible. I contacted Dolika because the tripod was getting weak and they said they would replace it if I couldn't fix it, he tried for 5 days and nothing helped. It was August 24, 2017, no new tripod from Dolika, no reply to my emails. Sent 4 emails and created a website request. They advertise a 5…

Sturdy, slim budget tripod.

After reading many tripod reviews I decided this was what I needed. I was impressed with this right out of the box. I've had very cheap tripods in the past and was surprised when I got this one because the price was so low I figured I'd get another cheap tripod. I was wrong. This thing was great for me. I recommend you watch my video to see how it handles a pretty decent weight with ease. It comes with a nice pouch that appears to have a sturdy handle and stitching. Another nice feature is the…

Cheap, strong, but stinks horribly!

Nice, light and portable tripod. The one I received is sturdy considering all the joints are extremely tight which will surely wear out over time. However, upon delivery the strap on the carrying case was broken and unusable and as others have complained there is a very strong plastic/rubber smell. Such a strong smell that I had to store it in the garage so it wouldn't spread throughout the house. Hopefully this will fade over time too, but as a nature photographer it cannot be used without…

This is a good tripod, but not the best. Considering the price and weight, I'm happy with it and it's a lot better than my old SunPak Pan/Tilt. The first downside is that stability could be better, especially when the center column is more than halfway extended, and vibration isolation isn't great. However, my height of 5ft 7in is such that I don't usually need full extension and I usually shoot with a shutter delay or IR trigger so movement from touching the camera doesn't matter much. Haven't

Great for outdoor painting

I was looking for a reasonably priced, durable and lightweight tripod that would carry my travel bag. I settled on Manfrotto until several outdoor artists recommended the Dolica Pro-Line. I was skeptical that a $50 tripod could compete with more expensive tripods but decided to give it a try. I couldn't believe the quality of the tripod in this price range. Sturdy and well constructed, the Dolik can support the weight of my paint and accessory box without wobbling. The head fits perfectly in my

Fantastic solid ball head tripod for the price!

I'm a wildlife photographer and used to use an inexpensive $15-$20 Vivitar pan/tilt tripod in case I ruined it and risked going off the beaten path. The ball head is such an upgrade and for the price this little Dolica tripod does everything 10x better than my previous Vivitar! Pros: - Price. At only $20-30 more per unit, I feel comfortable taking this tripod into the wild. I don't have to worry about scratching it, getting it dirty or even losing it. It can be easily swapped out if attacked by

That's very good because I don't have to detach myself.

Please note: I am NOT a pro and have not had the opportunity to test high end tripods but I will give my honest opinion on them. Let's start with the small cons. . This tripod, while inexpensive, wobbles a little, but less than what it replaced: an old pan-tilt tripod. Working with it is a little less intuitive than pan and tilt, but that's to be expected. A small annoyance that I noticed when I first started using it is that the leg release levers are quite tight, but they become more…

No worse than models that cost 4 times as much!

There's a difference between tripods you can find at your local electronics store and tripods from camera shops that sell for over $400. 400 ¬ for a tripod? Yes. The Dolica GX650204 has professional features, but does not cost €400. Dolik is a 4-piece aluminum tripod. The sections use flip locks for the legs and when you open the latch you have to pull the leg out, it won't slide out on its own. The legs also have non-slip rubber feet with a retractable spike. To open the spikes, simply twist…

There are actually quite decent tripods

There are actually quite decent tripods. Their tripod carts aren't bad either. The tripod can last a decent amount of time when it comes to camera and gear if all the locks are secured. If you find that the locks ever slip with the weight you put on them, you can put small pieces of tape in the locks where the plastic is pressing against the leg for extra weight/support (little industry secret) . The camera mounting plate is perfect and resembles (a bit) what you'll find on bulkier camcorder…
