Don Jo Anodized Aluminum Finish 30 Review

Hard to tell from the picture but when I saw it in person it was exactly what I was looking for. Nice piece of metal that wasn't too shiny. It's a bit flimsy, but it was installed at the entrance to my garage door. I don't expect it to take much damage, but it's aesthetically pleasing and seems to get the job done.

Works great. Easy to install and looks great. At least one review mentioned missing screws. Maybe they accidentally threw them away. It's just wrapped in paper and the screws are folded in at one end. I almost missed them myself and was about to buy screws when I went to double check. There is a protective film on one side to prevent scratches during installation.

Arrived with a bent corner and many scratches on both sides + some marking marks on one side. And no screws! Looks like someone carved this place out of a larger sheet of metal, drilled holes and just shipped it as is; There was no packaging, no labeling, nothing compared to the ones I've previously bought from Home Depot which came unscratched, with screws, in a plastic sleeve with instructions etc. Very disappointing.

The product turned out to be exactly what I was looking for in terms of color and size. and yet a few dollars cheaper than the products sold at Lowes or Home Depot. Although cheaper, the money saved was only interesting since my footpeg came with a folded corner. I had to carefully use a hammer and trolley to get it half straight again, although it wasn't perfect and still noticeable. otherwise this strike plate would be useless and could not be installed. I'm not sure about the company's…

Just as the satin plate was beautifully wrapped in bubble wrap, I expected it to be beautiful. I was SHOCKED by such poor quality. One of the corners was bent and there were so many scratches that I was very disappointed. There was no protective plastic cover on the front panel. I hope the replacement is in pristine condition. I also ordered a duro coated flapper and it came in the same mailer box as the satin plate but it had a protective plastic cover on the front (not the same as the other).
