Perfect replacement

This is the perfect replacement for factory equipment and has saved me a lot of money. The GM dealership wanted about three times more and the local Autozone parts store had about $40 more. GRATITUDE!

1998 Buick Riveria that changed the world Installation

with 200,000 miles, I installed this in my Riviera to tighten the steering. Apparently the force of the supercharger combined with regular use of full throttle has worn down the plastic wear bushings in my old control arms, allowing the front end to move a bit. Everything is better and a little more economical than buying from any other source. !

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Modern

My 2004 Buick LeSabre has a strange vibration on the passenger side and a strange "rocking" feeling when starting off. Further analysis showed that the front right control arm bushing had failed after 10 years and 110,000 miles. These bushings differ from other similar bushings in other vehicles in that they are permanently installed in the arm and cannot be removed/replaced. This means a complete control arm replacement is required and this Dorman control arm is a perfect fit. With the help of

Improved new lower arm

Dorman parts are normally of very good quality and this lower arm is no exception. My sons 02 Lesabre had a loud hit in the front end that was very noticeable. The front control arm bushing was worn out, causing the control arm to move too much and metal hit metal. This lever features an improved heavy-duty bushing that should fix this issue in the future. It fits perfectly and has worked very well so far. Recommended upgrade to the original factory lever.

Pros
  • Complete rebuild - each assembly includes a ball joint and bushings pre installed saving time and labor
Cons
  • Compatibility

Half price and free shipping

Half price at local discount auto parts store and made by the same manufacturer, Dorman. I installed this part on both of my machines and had no problems. Even my installer was amazed at the price. October 2014: Had to order another one for my Buick Lesabre. The quality does not correspond to the previously delivered parts. The left one had a ball joint oiler, the right one didn't. However, this was not the worst. After installing the part, my mechanic was unable to level the car. The camber…
