Without cone seal

I installed this product on my 06 G35 coupe and the wheel was loose. Upon inspection, there was no cone on the ball and hinge connecting behind the red. The product sold turned out to be "defective" after a direct call to the company!

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • The list is long.

I am ordering a DORMAN LOWER ARM PART NO. .

I am ordering a DORMAN LOWER ARM PART NO. 521-601 I received a third-party item. I was sure it would come in a DORMAN box. 521-602 came in a DORMAN box. I paid for a DORMAN product, not an unnamed item that may be made in China.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great details but not what I thought.

Wrong part! What I ordered was what I received, but if you're looking for lower front control arms, first make sure it's not a tie rod. That's what the manufacturer calls it. That's great if you need to replace them, but not likely! Please keep in a hold before purchasing.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Nothing

First order returned

Because parts (pin and metal cone) were missing and the hub wobbled. Received this item today and it came with ONLY a needle and NO metal cone. I figured I'd have to harvest and use the old one. The item itself looks ok. It's 0.5 pounds heavier than the standard. This will apply to the 2005 G35 sedan.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Out of fashion

OEM fit without the crazy price.

Fits OEM. I had no trouble installing them on my 2004 G35 coupe. I pressed out the bearing bushings and replaced them with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. They fit perfectly. Will definitely buy it again for my passenger side if it ever fails mine, I hope not. I will update in the future if there are any issues.

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Does not come with metal spacer

This ODES lever does NOT come with metal spacer/cone as advertised. I only discovered this after removing the old lever and believe me you don't want to get stuck trying to separate the old seal from the lever as this is next to impossible. Getting the old arm out is tricky, then I had to do extra work to put it back in, and if you injure your old arm in the process, you're out of luck.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some small things

Surprisingly good quality

I am a firm believer that genuine parts are used to replace most things. However, for the front lower "armsโ€, the cost was slightly higher. They came at a good price and I thought they might be a good temporary fix. After unpacking the old ones, I was shocked at their durability. They are VERY similar to OEM in terms of weight and quality. Everything is perfectly aligned and I had no alignment issues. I still plan on reinstalling the original factory bushings when I'm installing new bushingsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • I won't say anything
