Works as it should: Brake system

Okay, since I disassembled my truck, installation was easy. It's not the product's fault, it's the way my truck is made. The washer fluid reservoir was a perfect fit and saved me a lot of money. It was a win!

Perfect fit for 2004 Chevy Z71 Silverado!

Fits perfectly on my 2004 Z71 Silverado. I also had to replace the hoses. Used the original pump and sensor as they still worked. The rubber fittings for these items fit snugly and will not leak. The only thing that cost me time was that my battery case had two screws that were very rusty and didn't fit the socket (10mm). So I drilled the head of the screw and machined the parts. When I got the tray out I cleaned it and painted it with rustoleum paint. All in all it fits perfectly.

  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Some problems

My original tank was leaking and although I don't usually work on my truck I have decided to replace it myself. The tank was designed to fit snugly inside the battery and other parts, but I was able to remove the old one and put the new one in. The pump and low liquid indicator are easy to insert into the tank and fit snugly. After filling the tank there was no leak and it worked great.

Perfect spare part! I can wash my windshield again!

I have lived with a leaking fuel tank for many years and have to hand wash my windshield every time. Eventually broke down and bought this and it took 15 minutes to install. Steps: (2001 Silverado) Open the bonnet (yes!) Take out the battery Take out the test pan Remove the 4 inner fender clips and fold up the inner fender (under the fender next to the tire) Unscrew the old tank Disconnect the cable to the pump and remove the level sensor sensor and pump and put the cable in the new tank attach

2002 2500HD Duramax Perfect Fit

Fits perfectly and replaces my 02 Silverado 2500HD DMax. I was happy that this new tank came with seals/o-rings for the pump and float connection. This repair takes about 30 minutes (first time) and I rate difficulty 1. You have to turn the steering wheel to the left and then remove part of the inner plastic wing (plastic tabs) to access the reservoir. Once you've done that, the actual removal and replacement is a breeze. FYI - the plastic tabs on the inner fender are easily removed with a…
