Works great best in parts

Works great. easy installation. stopped the rumble I was getting from the bearing (sounded like elevator rumble). Comes with a time setting tool that locks it in the correct time position. I will order more if needed. fast delivery, great price

As described, fast shipping, perfect fit. Excellent seller.

I use a lot of jeep parts because I have a lot of old jeeps. Something only Mopar will work. Universal seems to be doing great here. I like the Dorman brand even though this is my first time with CPS. It looks good and works perfectly. I will buy again if I need another.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Long delivery

2001 Jeep Cherokee in Engine Parts

We installed this on a new engine that went into my son's 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Comes with an alignment tool. Works perfectly. I don't know why this item is even needed on an injection engine with a crankshaft position sensor. The price was very reasonable considering the wear of the original oil pump.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Months of Problems Fixed

My 2002 Wrangler sneezed and wouldn't fire for months, I replaced the crankshaft sensor, oxygen sensors and camshaft timing sensor and nothing worked until this part. If you are getting codes 1391 and 340 along with misfire codes, try replacing this part. The included alignment tool makes installation easy once the part is in place.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Damaged

Fixed an issue where my TJ 4.0 "Tikal "

This Dorman 689-200 fits my 04 TJ 4.0 with no issues. After reading forum reports of mounting holes in wrong location, mismatched plug and mismatched gear in block. I thought I had a project to replace my default synchronizer. This spare fell right into the block and connected to the wiring harness with no issues. This part comes with a new gasket, camshaft position sensor and o-ring.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Functionality

great price all parts included New

All new parts all included. You can't find a better deal, at least when I bought mine it was the cheapest I've ever seen parts like this for. I would have paid the same price for a used part but mine were new so I bought TWO! BEST DEAL I EVER GET ON AMAZON, lots of good quality, OEM style new aftermarket piece. This part was made specifically for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and may not work with the same Jeep 4.0 inline 6 engine used in a non-Grand Cherokee vehicle! Make sure you buy the part that…

$38 and 1/2 is the best deal I've had to get back on the road.

After 279,000 miles the roller pin in the oil pump shaft had completely sheared off. I saw this on Revain and thought it was too good to be true. $38 is about what I paid for a camshaft position sensor about 5 years ago. When I received it and saw that it came with a new sensor and adjustment cap I was impressed. I put the engine at TDC and used the alignment tool, although I think you can see it just as well. It caught fire and I'm back on my way for $38 and 1/2 hour time. Dorman has been very

It sounded like a bad elevator that would quiet down

My 2001 Jeep Cherokee had a ticking noise that no one could find. It sounded like a bad lift that got quieter as we warmed up. After examining the entire idle engine with a mechanic's stethoscope, the noise was localized to the lower, middle portion of the engine. The only thing that is in this area is the cam syncronizer and the oil pump. When the synchronizer was pulled out, the oil pump drive pin was worn, and the gear that meshes with the cam gear was also worn. The new synchronizer fitted…
