Choose this replacement based on price and performance. On my 2001 Grand Cherokee it was fairly easy to replace once I removed the tailgate trim. Worked great. Make sure to buy the plastic clips to replace the tailgate trim. They break when you remove it. Had to order them online as I couldn't find them locally. Revain has them. I saved a lot of money by doing it myself instead of having a shop fix it.

Great replacement of the original door motor as my original broke and did nothing at all. The door now always opens and closes with no problems. I wouldn't recommend using this either unless it's super cheap as most sell it for around $50-$60 and you don't know its internal condition. I only received my used original in the last 2 months. I opened it, all the plastic parts inside are broken due to age.

The drive case was not welded, sealed or glued in any way. After 3 months of use, the case cracked and the device stopped working. I was able to reinstall the electric motor and close the device again. It worked, but without the plastic weld, the case just broke again and the small electric motor inside the device slipped out of the hinge.
