Runs like new: Parts

I'm repairing this 32 year old truck I just got and was having problems with the back door. It fits like new and the tailgate now works as it should.

Just like the cheapest option.

I'm ordering 2 grips for my '94 F150 to see which one is better. This is the cheapest form of DEPO ($10). They appear to be made by the same generic manufacturer. The same traces of the mold and tools. The Nighters are great, but don't spend more money on these.

Good replacement part

Fits my 96 F250, easy to fit. Make sure your locking mechanism is working properly and is not damaged or broken. Mine is almost frozen from rust and corrosion. A small amount of grease on the latch mechanism and new handle will keep the tailgate working like new.

Works perfectly! for loading platforms and tailgates

Ideal as an OEM. I removed some Tri-Flow from the snaps and the mechanism that converts the downward motion into a pull motion. Now my tailgate opens and closes more smoothly than it has in all my 28 years. The old one broke because it became so stiff that I had to stand on the bumper with both hands. Now I can reach the bed and open the back door!

I think it's better than not having a grip

I think it does is better than having no grip. The product is of poor quality, does not want to open. All I can say is that I have had a pleasant experience with customer service. The original one I bought broke during installation and they sent me a new one very quickly. This one fitted well, but the levers that push the opening mechanism in the tailgate tend to slip. I have to push the handle forward and up (and with quite a bit of force) to open it for it to actually open, otherwise the…
