works best in spares

Installation can be difficult but it is worth the effort and not worth paying a professional. Use shim drilled to size, vise and lube to install, check youtube.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Protection

Works great!: Fuel system

Would have liked to have had metal parts but I guess that's why I had to replace those connectors in the first place! I held the tube with a brake line flare tool and used a factory press to press the fitting into the tube.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Bought as part of a restoration due to rust.

Purchased as part of repairing rusted steel pipes on my truck. It was a little tricky to attach a hose, I boiled water and stuck the end of the plastic fuel line in for about 10-20 seconds. After that, everything turned out quite simply.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Fine

Don't lick! Attached to my fuel filter.

Rusted standard fitting on my 2000 Ford Explorer V8 5.0 fuel filter. It worked very well with no leaks and it was so easy to break off the filter during testing. No fuel leak! I also bought a 5/16 nylon line and compression fitting to change from nylon to 5/16 stainless steel.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Nothing

Worked on a 1999 Jeep Cherokee fuel line that had a broken connector. It didn't take long for the old line to be flexible enough to fit the new connector. Used a copper pipe vise to hold the fuel line and a wrench. After a couple of times the line heated in boiling water.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Nothing here

Fits perfectly. - Replacement Parts

They fit perfectly on the fuel filter on a 2001 4wd Sporttrac and are easier to remove than the original parts. Continue to use the filter removal tool with the original fittings without detaching and clogging. Also bought a 5/16 fuel line and 5/16 steel and nylon fitting to complete the repair. The result was just as good as the original setup and it is now easier to change the fuel filter.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product
