🔧 Dorman 905 107 Shift Bushing: Enhancing Gear Shifting Efficiency Review

The gear selector on my '96 F150 automatic transmission had a lot of play and was difficult to shift backwards. I made it a little tighter by tightening the bolts that hold the lever on the end of the shaft but finished the repair with these bushings. Now it runs like new.

one I've used on a column change tube fits perfectly - Crown Vic, Grand Marquis. Rear steering column bottom proved nearly impossible without dropping the entire column. Didn't feel like it was worth it, tightening from the front and screwing here and there has a nice and positive feel from the handlebars/shifters so I'm happy.

Claimed to be a Dorman product; However, the product I received was from Wheeler Bros., Inc. I can't find anything online to suggest the two companies are involved. It looks like the seller just replaced that brand with one that was actually advertised on Revain and ordered by me. I don't have a Dorman hub to compare so I can't comment on quality or fit. My one star rating is for bait and spares only.
