NOT ACCURATE BUT CLOSE ENOUGH

About a quarter of an inch sticks out of the pipe on my Dodge Charger 09 3.5L RWD. The rubber o-ring barely touches the end of the tube which makes for a good seal which is the only reason I give it 2 stars. According to the installation instructions, it should fit perfectly. I had to go with the factory part and pay an extra 2-3 dollars.

Good replacement OEM and arrived direct

My OEM dipstick broke trying to pull it out. It arrived in a long package and was direct. NOT folded like some reviews. I drilled a small hole and screwed the screw into the old probe. Then he pulled it out with the claw of the hammer. Mine was really stuck and it took a couple of tugs to get it out. I kept the original until I replaced it and it was the perfect length.

It's slimmed down a bit, but overall it's improved the design. Hopefully they don't come loose like the original sticks!

This is the third dipstick I have bought for my Dodge Magnum with a 3.5 liter V6 engine. The first two got stuck in the dipstick tube and the end broke off. I think that everyone who wants to buy this product might already know it. This is a very common problem. It looks like the caretaker modified the product so that it doesn't jam or jam as often happens with original devices. Perfect replacement

Strange reason why my oil dipstick broke at the base of the pull ring, found out it's common on a Dodge Challenger/Charger/300 v6. I wouldn't advise tapping and drilling the remaining piece of plastic in the pipe. I make such an attempt and the probe falls further into the pipe. Simply remove the 2 15mm bolts connecting the alternator bracket to the passenger side cylinder head and a 10mm nut holding the air intake. No, the hardest part was not being able to just get the pipe out of the sump…
