Dorman 977-025 Throttle Body for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Models (OE FIX) - Fuel Injection Upgrade Review

Was a lot cheaper than the local auto parts store. The only drawback was the excess adhesive on the mounting surface that had to be scraped off. Otherwise no problem.

Jeep Patriot 2017. Went in real easy. Removing the old one and installing the new one took no more than 15 minutes. No programming required. The car has been running great for over a month now. Anyone can do this repair as easily and save at least $600. Order a seal from him.

This has been in my car for a year now and still works great. I had some reservations about this as there were negative reviews about this company but it holds up. I don't drive much so it only has about 1,000 miles on it, but even if it breaks down at 10,000km that's a lot longer than I'll be keeping the car.

Part exactly matches OEM part. However, this was diagnosed by the Dodge Svc department and turned out to be a problem. I replaced the part with another identical one. The Dodge Svc department found this to be the problem. I'm not entirely sure if that's really a problem, but we'll see. I ordered a genuine Mopar throttle body. If that doesn't help, I don't know what will.

Easy and quick replacement. Watching YouTube made me worry about deleting both, when I did I only had to delete what was actually related to it. Quick note, although after installing I still had errors stored in the computer for the faulty one, however, after driving for 10-15 minutes and turning off the car and then restarting, they went away. Saved me hundreds of thanks

can't say it's a great product but it works. I can restart your computer, but it doesn't "recognize" me. What I mean is the car runs but it goes into "safe mode, standard mode or emergency mode" and the "Check Engine" light and the ignition light stay on. After the machine has been running for a while and I restart them they may or may not go out but come back on. At least for me. For me Dorman is not the best brand. This isn't the first part, but it didn't impress me.

Was defective when unpacked! I installed this part and corrected the source codes given in it. However, it issued a different code that did not exist before. I didn't think it was a new part I just bought and tried a few other options. I ended up taking it to a mechanic for repair. After three days and $700, it turned out to be a Dorman throttle body. Not happy with it at all! Dorman's defect cost me a lot of time and money. Beware!

original throttle body failed on my 2013 dodge avenger with 52,000 miles, bought this dorman because of the price and reviews after installation. After a few hundred bucks to replace other parts I went back to the throttle body, bought an OEM Mopar throttle body, bingo, that fixed the problem. So don't waste your extra dough on a China made Dorman throttle body and go for an OEM product. DO NOT BUY DORMAN!
