The bounce rate of 98.5% is fantastic!

Excellent filtration thanks to this membrane. A failure rate of about 98.5% right out of the box, which is excellent. I highly recommend this reverse osmosis membrane model!

Pros
 • This is amazing
Cons
 • Unbelievable price

Reverse osmosis membrane filter for sanitary ware and kitchen

This filter is a bit different than what we received but it fits and more importantly it works. We rely on our reverse osmosis system for drinking and cooking water, so we had to replace the membrane filter when the system failed. We didn't have one where we live, so we checked the Revain, put in the model number and there it was. It arrived on time, was easy to install and within hours we were back to drinking water. I recommend both the seller and the product.

Pros
 • Very good price
Cons
 • Not the best

I have a WRI (Water Resources International) ultra micro reverse osmosis system that is over 16 years old. Growing up, I was one of those foodies who fell for the trap of knocking on the merchant's door to show me how bad my water was and how they could make it better. After spending over $3,000 on a Hydro Quad water softening system and an Ultra Micron reverse osmosis system, I have had no more problems with the water heater elements, the stains on the dishes were gone and the systems wonders…

Pros
 • Constant test results
Cons
 • Useless functions

They work as intended

I ordered and installed another brand that I order from Revain. I always check the TDS after installing a new diaphragm. Usually, the new membrane makes TDS youthful or even unique. A non-Filtec brand had a TDS above 75ppm within a week of installing a new membrane. After ordering and installing the Filmtec product, the TDS dropped to 15ppm. Keep in mind I have reverse osmosis units up and down and the non-Filmtec product was higher (over 70ppm) in both units before I switched to Filmtex.

Pros
 • Polyamide Thin Film Composite (TFC)
Cons
 • Not bad but...

I had the best experience with the previous DOW Filmtech membrane

I have always used these reverse osmosis membranes since I installed them in my home reverse osmosis system. This gives an average of about 8 TDS from an incoming tap of 250 TDS. This year, the city's water supply has suddenly increased to about 450. So I figured this might still give a relatively good failure rate. The sediment filter was replaced along with the carbon filters. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the TDS of the filtered water didn't even come close to a 98% deviation…

Pros
 • Free chlorine tolerance: <0.1ppm
Cons
 • Not as thick as other mediators
