Best collar training tool

This collar is AWESOME! We have tried everything to train our rescue dog to walk safely on a leash without pulling or chasing anything that moves. Nothing worked until I tried this inexpensive handy device. It worked great and my dog seemed happy to wear it. A slight tug is enough to signal them to stop tugging, and they'll get the message and respond immediately. It doesn't seem to hurt him, but it's enough to get his attention and tell him to stop tugging. I used the same method to get him to

Problems with the lunge in the dog? Take it!

If you have a dog that attacks bikers, cars or skateboarders, get this! Think of it as a workout. I had a dog that did extreme lunges and turned stressful walks into enjoyable walks. It doesn't hurt the dog... When I put it on, he's just as happy as a normal collar. In the end, the dog will thank you for it, because he can walk calmly and not worry. Also. There are extra prongs in the package to help you adjust to your dog's correct size. Only wear this for walks, dogs should not wear this…

Great collar!: Pinch Collars

Can't believe I haven't bought one of these before. This makes going for a walk a dream. I used to think it was some kind of torture device, but due to the fact that I'm pregnant and need to train this dog before the baby is born and the puppy jerks me off several times, I had to try something new. You don't have to use it in a cruel way, it honestly does its job by itself. Someone told me that the teeth resemble a mother dog's teeth. She only has to pull slightly to understand that this is not

This is a wonderful product. I have an alpha dog who .

This is a great product. I have a trained alpha dog and this collar was recommended to me by my trainer. Within 30 seconds of putting it on his demeanor completely changed for the better and he didn't try to pull me down when I was leading him on the leash. This product saved his life by helping train him. This is a very humane collar when used properly. I recommend ordering additional links at the same time as links of this size are not very difficult to find in any store. I was against using…

Game changer for a strong Pitbull puppy! Walking is now a joy for me!

I've heard that serrated collars are good for teaching dogs not to pull when walking, but I found them cruel. After speaking to the trainer she explained that they don't really harm your dogs and once they learn how to behave when walking I can stop using the collar if I want to. This collar was great value for money but it was a game changer for our daily walks. He learned very quickly not to lunge or pull and now automatically sits down on curbs or when I stop. It was also surprisingly easy…

The result is amazing. Gomez responds very well to the collar

My Australian Shepherd Gomez loves to pull. He has gone through 3 levels of obedience training but cannot contain his enthusiasm for a walk. Tried a traditional correction collar and even a soft leash - to no avail. He punched my ex-wife as she tried to walk with him, pulled away from her and pulled away two more times. And all in one week. Not knowing what to do and on the advice of a professional trainer, I tried the Deluxe Adjustable Teeth Training Collar. I removed a link to make it fit…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Heavy and chunky, not as accurate as Herm Sprenger pen. PLEASE learn how to use them properly before using them. The earplugs should fit snugly (ie when placed behind the ears, they should not droop and fall off on their own). They are designed to be used with a regular collar as the connectors may fail. or break, and then you have a free dog. It is designed to be placed, again neatly, behind the ears close to the head and NOT at the base of the neck. The point here is to ensure that the…

Recommended by our trainer, not many available

Our 7 month old pet would pull and pull on walks or be stubborn and not want to walk unless bribed with treats. We had very difficult times with other people and dogs when he wanted to run to them or chase them. Birds and squirrels became a constant struggle. Our trainer suggested a spiked collar this time, but since our pup is smaller than most rodents and weighs 30-40 pounds, she recommends a 2.3mm spike gauge. After searching there weren't many options for a collar of this size. Others were…

It broke and my dog ran free.

UPDATED: (4 stars to 1 star) We have two dogs, a pit mix and a sausage mix. This collar is great for our pet, she doesn't hate it at all yet is super effective with a tug and "no". In 5 minutes our pet went from being a crazy toffee (she literally pulled my 11 year old son and wife off their feet) to a totally obedient crawling super dog. Our 30lb sausage mix had a collar injury and wouldn't leave. on a leash for a week after the first correction (probably overtightened). It was reported that…
