Description of Drawstring Straining Micron Strainer Filter

CONIE large mesh filter bags are made of BPA-free food grade nylon, ultra durable and dry quickly than cheesecloth bag. This advanced nylon straining brew in a bag with a drawstring perfect for straining, soaking, sprouting, cider press and extraction. An excellent kitchen tool you must have. Food strainer bag measure of 12 inch opening, wider opening ensures the nut milk sack doesn't waste milk, grape, grain, or make a mess. Large straining bag enough for multiple usages like beer making, wine making, nut milk making, yogurt cheese making, jelly making, fruit juicing, and cold brew coffee, this bag can do what you want. High quality nylon food strainer bags withstand hundreds of uses. Much finer mesh filters out much more pulp and it doesn't stretch out in the same way that organic materials do.

Straining Yogurt: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

We'll use this to strain yogurt. I just wish the strings were closed longer. Threads were already breaking when we bought the bag, but it works very well for straining yoghurt.

Works perfectly! in the kitchen and dining room

I just strained the yogurt with a 120 micron mesh bag and it worked great. The whey drains off in a reasonable amount of time (about 15 minutes), leaving 2 liters of thick, creamy yoghurt. The pouch is fully rinsed with hot tap water. Ideal!

More than I need but works for sifting yogurt.

This is a slightly large variety of spruce yogurt and some yogurt solids ooze out when sifted, but it works. Pour it into a colander and then over the bowl. I had the same problem as the other reviewer: a few random threads suddenly contaminated my yogurt. I hope this stops the tree the first 3-4 times I use it. A reusable bag is much easier to use than gauze. I wish it came with a protective storage bag to keep it clean while stored away for my next weight bearing session.

It's strong but permeable - it works!

Just used this bag to strain my annual cranberry liqueur mix. It has been warmer since November. I soak the filter bag in boiling water for about a minute and then lay it out on a towel to dry before using it. Then I placed it in my tallest saucepan, poured about 1.5 gallons of cranberry liqueur mixture into it and saved to drain. It was beautiful, the clear red liquid flowing through the fine mesh leaving the clog behind. I added the remaining gallons, did the same, then tied the bag to the…
