Inaccurate test

I live next to a copper mine and my storage tanks are full of rust. I just tried it on my well water and it had no copper, iron or calcium carbonate that I see on faucets. I believe this is an inaccurate test. I've tried 3 times to make sure I'm doing it right. I took all inorganic and organic chemistry courses at UC Santa Barbara. YOU KILLED MY FISH!

I bought these because they tested so many things only needed for shrimp and snails. So I tested the water in both of my tanks and she said they were perfect. So I put my fish in it. I lost three snails, countless shrimp and a few fish. I thought I got them from here until I realized they came from different places. Can't be me because the stripes say the water is PERFECT! Simple and accurate pH test strips

I bought these to test if my kitchen sink is connected to soft or hard water. With the help of these strips, I found out very quickly that hot water from the sink is soft and cold water is hard. It would be difficult to understand and get it right, but I decided to look at the instructions to see how difficult it would be. It turned out to be very simple.
