Inconsistent results

Very picky about thread selection. Stitches fall even when I walk very slowly and every time I make sure the hook catches the thread. I adjusted the speed and tension and practiced, and it still came out with just a few inches of dropped stitches. I ended up giving up the perfect cord and doing "good enough please don't unravel the cord". Even when using Taki classic light you don't get a stable result, but a lumpy cable. After a few inches of Icord emerges from the bottom, the handle sticks and won't budge. I'm using a plain acrylic sport yarn that I've used successfully on a double row knitting machine. Tried tension and no tension on the cord and tension and no tension on the yarn, nothingโ€ฆ

The reason is that it just gets too thick and won't go through the chute. It also gets caught around small hooks and makes a mess and then you have to cut it off. You know I tried anyway! 2) Sport yarn #3 works like a charm and knits a nice tube. That's definitely the weight I would recommend. In myโ€ฆ
