Yesterday I used this for the first time. Each is easy to install. They are of very good quality. The only problem is that the nuts on the two continuous handles have broken off. No problem, can be used without a handle, just tighten the nut.

Missing Parts. It's missing 4 washers and an oddly shaped piece of plastic that wasn't even listed in the materials. The directions were not accurate; Common sense worked, and we figured it out, but why not give the right directions?

This set is poorly designed. The stop wheels that press the cleats against the crossbars DO NOT REMAIN RELIABLE. After a short time, ours broke off so far that we almost lost the kayaks. The kayaks came halfway off the rack damaging the crossbars, our car and the kayaks themselves. Dents everywhere. Save yourself money and nerves.

Installed on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Assembly was easy, as was installation. The quality is surprisingly good for the price. One of the carriage bolts was wrong, but it still worked. All of the bolts had a square head to fit a square hole except one and they had a round shank but as I said the bolt still worked it just wouldn't snap into the bracket. Installed according to the instructions. The screws holding it to your roof will come loose on their own. We tested it by going to the local marina which is only a few miles away. I tightened it as tight as I could on the roof rack, but the puffs are for hand tightening and include parts/instructions or some mechanism to prevent loosening. By the time we got to the pier, they were completely freaked out. On the way back I tightened it again and when we got home it loosened again. If we were…
