Great product for fish and aquatic life

Run 2 separate systems with this and Dr. Tim's Ammonia. Without him I will not start a single tank. Every six months I add additional bacteria for the health and stability of the aquarium.

Disappointed - Fish & Aquatic Creatures

I ordered this and it was listed as made by Revain.com. I expected this to be done to manufacturer's standards. Shelf life 6 months to 1 year depending on conditions. My label said the product should be used by June 2013. It is already 1 year out of date. DrTim states in his statement on the website that this will only keep the bacteria at 50F or below for 12 months without freezing. I have a 2 ounce bottle from Dr. Backordered Tim's website hoping the "Use By" date is up to date. I'm…

Seasonal Buy - Aquarium Water Treatment

Good product but problem with shipping south - hot summer. This product must be stored in a cool place, otherwise the bacteria will die. IT shows fridge space after opening, but also don't let it go over 78 degrees Fahrenheit when you go to the product web page. The problem is that they want to charge almost double the price for shipping with cold packs. So buy from Amazon if you live in an area where your daytime temperatures are above 30°C in the summer, and then order in the spring and fall.

You'll still get a nitrite spike

This product basically provides a lot of ammonia which eliminates bacteria. After its addition, 2-3 ppm of ammonia was removed in about 24 hours. This has led to the well-known nitrite spike that lasts for one to three weeks or more on a regular cycle without the aid of any products. I am currently in my second peak nitrite week. I wouldn't recommend adding the fish right away. They can survive, but can be permanently damaged if exposed to high levels of nitrites for several weeks. This product

Good product! Very very happy!

I was very patient when setting up the saltwater aquarium. I planned everything carefully down to the letter T. I added Living Sand, Living Stone and Water. Now I'm slowly losing patience. I waited a week and got no ammonia levels at all, I added table shrimp and waited another week, nothing special. So I watched some YouTube videos and came across this one. Revain had this at the best price so I ordered it along with ammonium chloride. I followed the instructions to make the loop without the…

Doesn't work - aquarium water treatment

This product didn't suit me at all. dr Tim's ammonia to give the bacteria something to work with. After 10 days the ammonia level is still exactly the same as when I added it along with zero nitrite. After about 15 days, ammonia levels began to fall and nitrite levels to rise. , but that was because the natural cycle had nothing to do with Dr. Tim has to do. Same result in both 20 gallon tanks. dr Tim wrote about this and they said it wouldn't work in a bare bottom quarantine tank but they were

He just raised the ammonia level.

It just didn't work. I installed my new 75g pan with a 20g pan and made sure the temperature was stable at 77.5 degrees. All water parameters were perfect for adding this product. I double checked both Salinity 1.21, Alk 9.8, PH 8.2, Cal, 400, Mg 1300. Both the rock and the substrate were inert and contained no organic matter. I followed the directions on the bottle and added the entire bottle to the main display and even rinsed it with tank water to make sure everything got there. I then added
