The heat gun works well, it is not inferior to other products in the same price range. I personally love all the accessories that come with it. In this case, I needed the heat gun primarily to work on an old kayak, and some of the tools that came with it allowed me to fix some damage that wouldn't have been fixed without them. All in all this is a very good product.

I appreciate adjustability and don't have high hopes for longevity given the price. The first thing I did though was test it with a watt meter and it was nowhere near 1500 watts. This affects the time it takes to heat up, which reduces productivity. But I needed adjustability, and this is it. Don't rely on numbers, however, as they rotate in reverse order; The lower the number, the hotter it gets.

Excellent for heating and bending PET tubing. This heat gun can get very hot. It's very easy in the control department and there's no way to set the exact temperature. You go high or you go low. With a little common sense I was able to use the heat gun for the temperatures I needed. The build quality is very good and the heat gun feels solid. It comes with an astronomical amount of accessories that you can attach to your hair dryer for a variety of tasks. I recommend this product.

Just received this unit. Slightly disappointed in the lack of a cover. In fact, the parts were scattered around the Revain box. I was thrilled to see that two fan speeds could be combined with variable temperature.
