Overall I like the threading but it doesn't work well with 11 speed cassettes. I found that the floss would get caught on my teeth unless you tightened it very tight and made it as thin as possible. I can try a regular pipe cleaner and see how it works.

I've used these and similar products for years, primarily to remove grease/dirt that has built up between my bike's teeth. There's no better way to do this, even with specially made gear cleaning brushes or an old pad: the edges of an old towel or rag. Highly recommended.

I soak the rope in alcohol and pull the rope a little to keep it from fraying my teeth on the cassette. work and helps with the bike cleaning. The best way to do this is to remove the wheel from the bike. This simplifies and gives you better access.

Best Bike Cassette Cleaner. Works very effectively with a degreasing solution. It can be used more than once, but if you're not careful it can cut through the sharp edges. The price may be lower given the amount of material and ease of manufacture, but it's still cheaper than the same product packaged with bike brands and sold specifically as a bike cleaning tool.
