Hose Sizes: Industrial Electrical

I found. I used drill bits to determine the dimensions. 1/4" pipe = 1/8" chisel 1/2" pipe = 17/64" chisel 3/4" pipe = 29/64" chisel Stretch to fit. 1/2 inch is best for CAT5 or CAT6 cable. You can't get 3/4" through RJ45 unless you stretch it. However, a CAT5/6 cable with more heat will still shrink it, but that extra heat will also start to deform the cable shield.

Also works great with cheaper printers!

This really is the only way to label wires. However, I didn't like the price of the "compatible" label. Manufacturers who have to work with this material. The cheapest I could find was about $80! On a whim, I ordered a DYMO LabelManager 160 label printer (well under $20) in case the vinyl label spools are identical. the labels he uses and that shrink wrap that might work. Not to mention I saved at least $60. As it turns out, IT WORKS! Just plug it into your label printer and start printing your

I bought the 1/2" size for marking custom network cables I've run through my walls and wires I've cut and left behind the drywall. It works great for these, but I was surprised that it can also be stretched to fit over other connectors. I was able to stretch the tubing with two tapered chopsticks to fit pre-made USB-C connectors and wanted the technique divide. You can stretch the tube slightly with two tapered chopsticks. This really is the only way to mark wires. One thing I didn't like was the price of "compatible" label printers that need to work with this material. The cheapest I could find are around $80!
