They come with Shimano MT200 brakes. I have internal wiring so I had to cut the rear brake hose and route it through the frame and then reconnect it. The barb was actually pretty easy to fit into the hose and once I had it all together and bolted on there were no leaks.

Great kit for servicing your hydraulic brake lines. Since the purchase I have shortened 4 lines without any problems. Just be sure to check the model number on your lines before ordering a kit.
