Bought for 1974 Big Twin Shovel

With this system, the shovel was converted to electronic ignition for the second time. Pretty easy, just follow the instructions. It may be necessary to open a hole in the nose cone to get the wire to the insulation and be patient (which sometimes stretches me). I hope this one is as reliable as the last one I converted. The second unit I received worked great. The first fell out after the bike ran for 10 minutes. The company asked me to take the unit to a local company so it could be sent back for testing. I got a call from the guy from Dynatek and said everything is working fine and they will send it back. I told him please send me a new one that the device in question is not good. Buyers beware, this product does not mix well with others.

I bought this module to replace an old Crane Hi-4, the rear cylinder has stopped firing. The unit I received from Midwest Traction went into surge protection mode after about 10 minutes of use. The bike stopped working without a loss of voltage. When contacting Dynatek directly, the rep said the module was designed to protect against voltage issues and my bike had a short or other voltage-related issue.
