🚀 Dynomax 17733 Super Turbo Performance Exhaust Muffler Review

Has been working fine for 4 months. Big improvement over my previous muffler. I use it on a '07 Jeep Wrangler JK with a Dynomax Cat Back off-road exhaust that dumps gas in front of the axle. I wish it had a stainless steel construction. I would pay more for it. So I covered it with 2000 degree high temperature paint to prevent rapid corrosion.

After reviewing so many mufflers I decided on this one and am very glad I did. Not only the price is good, but also the quality. But most importantly, I live on a quiet cul-de-sac and didn't want to disturb the neighbors. These mufflers sit behind a Chevy Vortec 5.7 with 10.25:1 pistons, COMP roller cams and full size Hooker manifolds. Added a nice deep tone to my 6 cylinder. Ford Explorer Sport Trac truck. Not too loud but you know it's there, especially on cold mornings. Quiet on the highway. Installed on a 2000 Tacoma 3.4L with rear axle access. It removed about 90% of the hum from the old crappy straight through muffler. I had Flowmaster series 40 mufflers. Volume and 'airy' higher tone was amazing, no problem. Even in the car normal conversation and stereo volume was great BUT between 1800-2300 rpm (50-64 mph) there was a loud resonance (hum) in the car.
