    Never buy a plastic can again

    I'm in my 70's and have had mostly 2-5 gallon plastic cans for 50 years or more. After Sandy, when gas was getting hard to come by, my brother-in-law gave me my first steel 5-gallon Eagle. I have now ordered 2 more from Revain. To make filling easier, I tie the lid to the handle with a piece of coated copper wire or "gear tie". I also had no problem transferring gas from a 5 gallon mower to my 2 gallon plastic mower. For my generator I pour from an Eagle Spout into a wide mouth funnel. There…

    DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

    For me this is without a doubt the WORST thing I have ever bought. First, there is a mesh in the filler that is absolutely too short for modern gas station hose attachments to fit and work (even if the attendant tries to help). When I first took it to a gas station, I couldn't fill it up. So I went back, took the yellow funnel that came with that gas bottle, took it back to the gas station and it's almost impossible to fill because the funnel was pointed at the gas bottle and the filler neck…

    Excellent value for money, but rest assured it will work for you

    This is excellent value for money, especially when compared to flexible spout models (Type II). If you need to fill side-opening tanks (e.g. cars and trucks) you're better off with a Type II can (I like my Eagle Type II) as you usually have to insert a funnel into the opening in the tank Case. and then pour into the funnel. Type I cans like this don't have a second hole, so this stuff will squish and gurgle and maybe splatter a little if you're not pouring very carefully. Type II jars have a…

    "BEST GAS BOTTLE "!

    I should have ordered a pair of Eagle gas cans a long time ago! I hate safety-oriented spouts on cheap plastic containers. I've never found one that's comfortable and doesn't give a headache in the back. Anyone who has ever designed a dispenser on cheap plastic containers has gotten too much money and wasted time.
