Do not loosen it when it is plugged into the plug, otherwise the holding lips will bend like mine and will turn off if you pull it.

Only the right channel is connected to my high-end AKG N5005 headphones. The left channel is completely unconnected. The new connectors are completely useless, even if they look cool .

When trying to plug a decent headset into my cellphone I needed this jack. However, BOTH don't work. I tried the first one and whoever I called can't hear me. Tried the 2nd, this time they heard me but I can't hear them! POOH!

I was hoping this would adapt my Plantronics wired headset (which has a 2.5mm jack) to the 3.5mm jack required by my MacBook. This adapter does not fit - the microphone does not go through. Tested with both Plantronics and 2.5mm Radio-Shack headset. I have connected it to a Moto G 6 phone as well as an HP Zbook laptop. In all combinations, the speaker sound worked perfectly, but the microphone sound did not come through the adapter. Please note that both headsets I have used are mono headsets and this is a stereo adapter so an incorrect jack may be related to this issue. I haven't done any further electrical research yet as it's not worth the time.

So many negative reviews that I had to leave a positive one. They scared me while waiting for my product but hooray the product works exactly as I need it to.
