I've had clipless pedals that almost killed me because I fell a couple of times trying to get out of them so I gave up and bought them to put them in Converting to platform pedals as I've spent enough on the pedals and didn't want them to go to waste. They worked great and were very strong and once attached very secure.

I read the ad and ordered a set of these pedals for my Wellgo SPD bike pedals. My SPD pedals used to be road bike pedals. Now they appear to be something like an MTN Bike pedal and these platforms are not suitable for the "SPD Mtn. Bike" pedal. They look strong, they're simple and inexpensive, but they just don't suit me.

These clips do the job and for the price you get what you pay for. They are a bit small and the main downside is that they are difficult to remove from the clips. If you share your bike with someone who wears shoe clips and needs to remove them from the pedals frequently, it's a good idea to keep a flathead screwdriver near the bike to pry them out.

I think I thought Shimano and Look pedals were similar but I can't fit them into my Look Ke0 Classic3 pedals at all. Maybe they'll fit if I really loosen the pedal, but since I like the pedal tension adjustment for cleat use, I don't want to fiddle with it at this point. A great value purchase and innovative enough that I'll be keeping them for possible future use.

I bought a 'new' used road bike that came with a set of Shimano 105 PD - R7000 SPD - SL clipless pedals and I wanted to get on getting used to driving this is what you used to do in cycling shoes. They're great for that. I've been using them a few times a week for a few months and they do the job. I don't think you want to make this permanent as they are quite small (but I knew what to include).
