Effective but difficult to clean in a small apartment.

I bought a litter box (Merry Cat litter box: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006YIY558) and after 2 years the bottom of the cabinet was completely destroyed. I ordered another cabinet and decided this time I would protect the floor by lining it with a garbage mat. So far this works very well. The length is PERFECT for the Merry Cat vanity bench. Although it's a bit wider, I like the fact that the sides of the rug curve towards the wall unit as this prevents too much accidental dirt fromโ€ฆ

Love love love this lifesaver!

Savior! I recently adopted a young cat who followed the trash EVERYWHERE! When the tray was in my bedroom, I woke up in the morning and stepped on the tray. Not the best start in the morning. When I used to have cats, I used a similar rug that was about a quarter the size and rounded. I knew it wouldn't work with the little storm (named Stormy) raging in my bedroom. I searched and searched for a mat large enough to cover the area through which it tracked most of the debris. I read the reviewsโ€ฆ

Great mat - large coverage area, soft paw texture, beautiful appearance

This mat is different from the plastic loop mats I've seen in the pet section of stores. It has a softer, more pliable texture and the loop pile is lower and denser so there's much less chance of claw snagging, but enough pile and texture to limit the spread of dirt. Another detail I like is that from a distance it looks like a regular rug and the large area it covers. Cats seem to walk on it (and even lounge and play on it) well and it seems to be able to stay in place normally on tiledโ€ฆ

  • Pampered paws - give your cats a reason to purr. Her lucky cat blanket is soft on her little fingers and helps her clean her paws before climbing back onto the curtains.

Small problems but I bought several of these for many purposes!

Ok time to write a review on this because I bought about 6 of these with my own money as I really like them. They have a BIG problem but they are still the best mats right now to be honest so I just hope they read this and make some changes. First the bad: if you have a pet that pees on these rugs, it's a pain to clean! As most of us know, cat pee smell is a nightmare for getting rid of things that you need to put away quickly and that get soaked with urine or whatever. These mats ooze throughโ€ฆ
