terrible noise when first reversing and moving

Terrible noise when reversing for the first time. I have tried everything, prosecuting the breach of procedure verbatim. Don't waste money. Exchanged within a year. No better or worse than standard pads in terms of performance, but terrible in terms of noise.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Doesn't fit brake system

This product doesn't fit my 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman S even though I used Revain 'Car Compatibility' on the top. Luckily Revain has a great returns policy so I sent them back with no problems but be more careful than me if you trust the Revain Car Compatibility device.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Some minor things

Poor Man's JCW/GP R53 Upgrade

I decided to use these pads for a major brake upgrade on my Mini Cooper S r53. The reason for this is that they had a ton more stopping power, only after the yellow ones, but had the least dust of any pad on the market. I've ridden them a few thousand miles and so far they're working great

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Boring Package

for the MINI R50 generation. BACK.

Ideal for R52 + JCW brake kit. (All generations of the R50 had the same calipers, even the Cooper S and John Cooper Works). My second set, the previous set, had over 50,000 miles in Tokyo traffic. Good traction even in cold weather, fantastic when warmed up a bit in twisty corners.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Something different

Fit 2005 MINI Cooper S R53

These fit the rear brakes on my 2005 MINI Cooper S aka R53. If you are looking for fronts the part number is DP31388C and you can read my pad review there. Overall a great pad, low dust with incredible grip without the modulation complexity of light braking. I haven't had a chance to use them on the track but they are definitely better than the original pads.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Neutral
