EBC Brakes DP31724C Redstuff Ceramic Review

Those brakes squeak! They also shed more dust than you would expect from ceramic pads. On the plus side they hold up much more efficiently than stock pads and as my car is used for emergency services I can put up with noise and dirty rims.

These things were a lot of dust when I first installed them, but they stop the car a lot better than stock pads. I would definitely recommend slotted rotors. They're on my heavy 2007 Dodge Magnum RT. I highly recommend these brakes.

I was driving 40 miles an hour and a car pulled out of the alley. I was able to slow the airbag deployment rate before impact. Wonderful!

I am very happy with the pads themselves. They don't squeak at all and have a better stopping feel than the stock pads (on the 2009 Challenger R/T). However, you MUST make sure you read the manufacturer's break-in instructions. Press down firmly on the floor and step on the brake, which will make the squeak go away after a few minutes.
