Run in according to instructions, no squeaking

I love these brake pads. They are very aggressive, so the composition is not designed for high mileage. They suit my needs perfectly. 3500 Series Two diesel engines. These covers will not fade and will not overheat.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Slightly dented

2005 Dodge Ram 2500

Brake pads are better than I expected. They replaced worn factory upholstery. Break-in was easy, but I didn't expect the amount of brake dust these pads produce. The manufacturer indicated that there is less dust, but I have more dust. Thought it would ease up after braking but stopped even after 1400 miles. Otherwise these pads stop this 3.5 ton beast better than the factory pads. Will try the orange stuff when the pads wear out.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

Improved braking performance with Yellow Stuff pads

Replaced Green Stuff pads on our Dodge Ram 2500, pleased with Yellow Stuff performance with added bite. The performance was immediately noticeable, they still need to be broken in. The new EBC pads come with piston pad seals, previously a seal fitted to the back of the pads was used. Two of the four legs were missing. I called EBC and they sent me two more piston pad seals. Great customer service from EBC Brake!

Lots of noise and dust. Damaged new rotors. Large EBC fan

Pretty disappointing. I bought new rotors and pads - spent a lot of money on my 2006 Ram 3500. Did everything in accordance with the technical section on their website. Fasteners were not included and in fact two of the four butt pads were shorted. Had to have EBC from them to me for the night. 1000 miles and they squeak like crazy. Took them off and put on a semi-metallic Bosch. We install EBC in all our vehicles. This is a big disappointment. The rotors had heavy grooves and the pads were…

An update if you don't mind the dust.

Definitely has an advantage. I installed these pads on the front of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1 Ton and noticed an increase in stopping power. Doesn't stop the floor, but definitely enough to notice. Gives me a better sense of security when towing a load. A small compromise for these pads is brake dust. My rims start to blacken after a few days. never mind The noise probably wouldn't exist if I took the time to spray my rotors with brake cleaner and maybe sand the pads before installation. I was in a…

I think it's no better than Raybesto's premium brakes.

I expected more for the price. First, save the old caliper clips you have when you remove the old pads. If they have deteriorated, buy new ones because. These pads do not come with new clips. Second, there are no directions, so you have to figure out the orientation. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance for the price. Third. they creak. enough said. I paired them with new EBC rotors so everything was new at the time of installation. Drove 1000 km, the brakes did not squeak, then they began to

Pros
