Excellent brakes in pads

This is a replacement for the Yellow Stuff brakes, which were noisier and dustier. They seem to work almost as well as the yellow ones and seem to have less noise and a little less dust. Still a dirty brake pad compared to ceramic or similar. I'll stick with green rather than yellow in the future.

Read them to install

Save big and buy a can of lime green spray paint. Not only is the paint so thick that I have to sand down the "ears" 5mm from the top and bottom, but the "brake" part leaves streaks on my new rotors. Jeep JK Wrangler 2013 2-Door. Lousy product that was too expensive, stay with Wagner ceramics.

  • Very good value for money

30 years Jeep experience and THE BEST PADS I HAVE

I liked my green EBC pads so much I put them on all my cars. My last pair wore out after about 35,000 miles, but I run 38" tires on a fully loaded 4dr Wrangler Jeep. And I live in the city, so many kilometers was a surprise for me. Jeep's YouTube channels convinced me to buy a brand that starts with P Stop (no full name given) for my current pads. With the new slotted rotors, the P-Stop brakes work half as well as these non-slotted EBCs. I've only done 3,000 miles on P Stop pads and I'm ready…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Quality brake pads

I used to use EBC brakes on my sport bikes and LOVE them. When it came time to change the brakes on my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK, I decided to try them on my Jeep. First let me say that if you have a JK, pay attention to the rear pads! At 53,000 miles I had 2.5mm pad material in the rear while my front pads were still sitting at 6.2-6.8mm. I have other friends with JK and they had the same problem, the rear pads wear out twice as fast as the front pads. I was torn between EBC Green Stuff…
