🔵 EBC Brakes GD994 3GD Series Dimpled & Slotted Sport Rotor Review

I installed these discs with a set of Akebono EUR676 pads. They fit perfectly and the truck stops smoothly and steadily. They've only been on the truck for about 1,000 miles but still no problems. No noise problems either.

Performs well when first installed with GreenStuff seals. In less than 3 years and 20,000 I had a vibration in the brake pedal. Went knocking somewhere to change the pads and rear brake discs. I had never seen this before, but the metal came off in pieces. I'm glad I looked at the first sign. Could be bad I don't know how EBC rotors are made, but I've never seen anything like it.

The brake discs are very tight on the hubs and definitely won't come off without a heavy puller, heat or an angle grinder. If I had known they were going to be that tight I would have sent them back. I hope I don't have to do any repairs that require removing these rotors. Braking performance with the new Akebono ceramic pads is no better than with the old brake system. Brakes sometimes squeak.

Fits Land Rover Discovery 04 and is a great upgrade from factory rims. The combination with matching Akebono Euro-Pads made me very happy. I've ridden them about a thousand miles in and around Atlanta and they hold up just like any other rotor I've ever used. The black finish looks nice but wears off the first day the pad comes in contact with the rotor. They looked cool the first day but after the pads ate the coating they looked good again the second day. I recommend these as a quality…
