Easy to install when the engine is not in the car

The motor was removed for replacement. I decided to replace all the necessary parts including the water pump and other spares.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Details are fine, note the tensioner pulley

The water pump appears to be a quality part as does the pulley. The tensioner pulley is of very poor quality and looks cheaply made. It broke when tightening during installation. The strap is flimsy but honestly you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • No

ECCPP Volvo C70 timing belt and water pump set

Purchased a timing belt and ECCPP water pump kit for our 2011 Volvo C70 as the car had over 120,000 miles and we were unsure if the previous owner had changed the timing belt. The mechanic changed the belt, tensioner, tensioner and water pump for about $500. So far, so good. We expect 100,000 miles or the rest of the car's life.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

All parts were good. except tensioner

Volvo s40 2.4i 2006 - All parts received were in good condition, fit like OEM and are in good condition with over 100 miles except belt tensioner. When installing the belt tensioner, a lever that MUST be cast broke off cleanly without more force being used to set the temp. Was a little disappointed with how easily it broke. The second time I didn't take any chances I bought it somewhere else. Overall other parts are still worth a reduced price in terms of price compared to parts previously OEM…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

It is very important to check the timing belt on a high mileage vehicle. The belts should be changed at approximately 60,000 mile intervals. If in doubt, change the belt. A broken belt causes severe engine damage on most engines. The price is very low compared to running the engine. On the S40 (Mein Auto), the end of the engine timing belt is directly opposite the engine compartment. Hard to access. Decide for yourself whether you can do the job. Unfortunately, the tensioner in this kit is…

Pros
  • One year test
Cons
  • Minor problems
