Perfect for my d17a2 valve cover

Timing belt changed, need a new valve cover gasket because that is what you do. Works, does not flow, has been working for 3 weeks. Haven't used the Honda gasket and 4 corners in addition to the gasket but no problems so far.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Faulty

Save money and time

Too thin. It looks like you get what you pay for. If you go through all the heartache of moving everything, don't risk doing it again. This lasted a month at best and started leaking again. Now I have to start again. NO happy prize for lost oil and time, and my poor father whose eldest must be without his car AGAIN.

Pros
  • Valve cover and stem
Cons
  • Not sure

Not recommended. DOES NOT make a good seal. Buy an OEM Honda instead.

Not recommended. I installed this V/C gasket very carefully following the online instructions: cleaned all the old surfaces, applied RTV Ultra Black sealant to the inside corners, torqued the bolts to spec, etc. Within a few weeks a significant amount of oil leaked out of one the outer corners. It must be a poorly made item. It does NOT make a good seal. I will buy a genuine Honda part and replace it. Such an inconvenience and waste of time! Also, the bolt hole seals have an ugly matte metallic

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This crap killed my car, HORRIBLE

Don't buy junk! I have this in my car and it caused an oil leak on the new alternator. And then they called Revain, they sent me another one, thinking it was just a marriage. but it wasn't, it's just gross garbage from the product! Leaked again! I ended up buying a surprisingly cheaper one from an auto parts store and it worked great. So I know it's because of that awful pad. There are no more leaks but it was too late for my alternator and some other parts were damaged by this chain of events.

Pros
  • Gaskets
Cons
  • Upgradeable
