ECCPP Towing Mirrors Replacement for 2007-2014 Ford F150 - Chrome, Power Heated, LED Turn Signal, Puddle Lamp Cap Pickup Mirrors Review

The mirrors look great but the turn signal didn't work right away. It looks like a repair item but they didn't fix it very well. I removed the mirror and 5 screws and found that 1 of the turn signal wires was loose. I attached it with a butt joint and assembled the mirror. Everything works now, but not a project for everyone. As far as I know it was a repair job as the right hand Phillips screws were tightened on the driver's side.

Watched two videos and was able to install these mirrors myself. "Chrome" is just a foil that will probably peel off sooner or later, but for now it looks good. The passenger mirror needs to be tightened in the item itself as every time I need to fold the mirror back I have to completely readjust the mirror. When I'm behind the wheel there doesn't seem to be any looseness, no jumping or noticeable vibration, but when I fold the mirrors back (even if I'm careful), the passenger mirror always…

This is my second set of mirrors in a week. The manufacturer is the same, but the brands are different. After removing my factory mirror, I reconnected the wiring harness and the turn signal on this unit did not work at all. I have 4 mirrors in boxes waiting to be returned to where they came from. I was looking forward to installing them as they seemed well made and well priced. Unfortunately they didn't fit at all. They left a 1/4 inch gap around the bottom edge of the mirror housing and door. As far as I could tell the mounting bolts are misaligned and not loosening, misaligning and re-tightening could result in breakage. To fit better. I smashed the driver's side mirror trying to get back into my garage and it still broke because Ford over $800 for the replacement (ONE) at the OEM demanded. Mirrors work and look great. The outer fit was snug to the door and installation was easy. Power mirrors, heated windows and puddle lights work great. I gave it four stars instead of five because the quick connect cables let air into the cabin from 55 mph, causing a slight whistling sound.
