Doesn't fit Silverado 2500

I bought this kit because it was supposed to fit my 2005 Silverado 2500HD and even auto parts stores list this kit as fitting but it doesn't. The steering box in my truck is Delphi and is identical to the Saginaw 800 steering box. One set that is correct and I ended up using this #8776.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Negative impression

worked on my 02 Xterra box, first repairer

I used to restore an 02 Xterra box and modified it for a hydraulic booster. I messed up and pinched the teflon gasket on initial reassembly and had to replace it. Please note that regardless of brand, they are exactly the same as the kits in the parts store. I also used these kits to rebuild another box that had a bipod output shaft leaking. There are several YouTube videos you can watch before getting started.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Long delivery time
