💎 3000 Grit Polishing Tape for Edge Pro Systems Review

I use this after my ultra fine stone to get a high gloss finish. It's about as good as I want my kitchen knives to be and I don't find the blade to last as long.

This is great! The only thing is the ones I got lagged behind the backing so who knows if the glue will hold up well. Other than that, that's all you could ask for.

Essential to complete the knife sharpening process with Edge Pro, leaves a high gloss finish with little effort. The tapes are sticky and stick very well to the glass, don't move or slip. Removal is just as easy.

I use them on my Wicked Edge 1500/Glass Blank Stone. They're a little big, but that's not a problem for me. 3000 is enough for me! I also bought 6000 grit and just don't have the patience. I will order more. Because of that, I'm here. Decided to write a review. You can certainly achieve a reflective finish with them.

Combined with Gritomatic 400 and 1200 silicon carbide stones and an Edge Pro Style sharpener I can make very sharp mirror edges on my D2 file folders. The polishing band works well but wears out quickly, one band lasts about 1.5 knives. Perhaps switching to higher grit stones would make the band last longer. I would give 5 points if the band lasted longer.

When I received this belt I thought it wasn't abrasive enough for what I wanted. I didn't think it would work, but it did and it's in great shape. The blades of my knives are all mirrors now. I love seeing a knife blade polished, it's proof that your hard work in sharpening the blade doesn't go unnoticed. After the tape I cut the edge and get great results. Now I like to use a sling to adjust the blades. It does a fantastic job.
