Description of 🐶 Enhanced Training Tool: Educator Nylon Quick Snap Collar

This 1-inch collar only fits Educator models ET-800/1200 (large receiver models); all other models require a 3/4-inch collar. Quick connect/disconnect buckle makes it easy and quick to put on or remove the collar. 1 inch width x 29.5 inch length strap can be trimmed to desired length (the cut edge should be burned slightly with a lighter to melt the nylon in order to avoid fraying). Made in USA.

Collar, harness and leashes are worth every penny

This company should ship them loose instead of the original plastic strap. This product changes the world every day by taking off and charging at night, then it is very easy to put on in the morning. We had to shorten the band for our pup, but it's so cheap we could just buy a new one when we needed it.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Collar slips and stretches

As others have pointed out, the collar buckles slip and the collar comes loose. I taped it to keep it in place, but I've also found that the collar stretches when it gets wet and shrinks (noticeably) when it dries. Even if it doesn't slip, just snapping it won't work as it needs to be tightened when wet or loosened when dry after getting wet. There's a reason good quality training collars have plastic collars.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor performance

Too bad it comes with instructions

Snap is great for easy access, too bad it doesn't come with instructions on how to add a mini learning properly after I canceled it I had a hard time to make him blow and stay. It took me a few times, a few times to lose, sometimes too tight, wish there was an easier way. I still don't think it's set correctly, it should be easier to adjust. Also, my dog is still growing and I don't want to cut off most of the collar until he's fully grown, so I have a lot of extra collar to tuck and tuck in.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Volume

Frustrating for dogs

My puppy won't stop when it's time for a walk, so it's always difficult to put an e-collar on him properly. So I bought this collar thinking that once adjusted all I would have to do was put it on and go. But unfortunately it is not configurable. When my dog goes on the leash and pulls on the nylon, slips through the buckles and pulls the collar too far from their skin to have any effect. Maybe when she gets older but for now it's useless and I've had to go back to a hard one that I have to…

How did we survive without them?

Excellent collar. We have a Rottweiler and Italian Greyhound mix that works great for both dogs. The original collars had buckles and we had a lot of trouble putting them on and adjusting them properly. When properly attached to the ecollar block and tightened to the correct size, there is no problem cleaning it up every morning. Both dogs were very resistant to the buckle collar, resulting in a mismatch. The snap collar snaps on before they even know it, cutting their morning prep time in…

Good concept, bad design

I really wanted a lapel collar for our Ecocollar. Why? Because 1) the dog is unsupervised during the day so we're constantly putting the collar on and off, and 2) everyone in my family interpreted the buckle on the original collar differently, and I've often found that the recipient didn't make contact with our neck of the dog. The tension on this collar won't stay where you set it. The more your dog moves, the looser the collar becomes. Is the puppy playing with another puppy? collar loosens…

Good idea but not as good as the belt collar

We love our e-collar. The only problem is that the collar that comes with it has holes for the strap so the tightness can vary depending on the day or family member putting it on the dog. As a result, the stimulation can have different effects. what you don't want in training. We need a very precise, constant level of stimulation. So I figured this quick buckle collar might be the answer for us because I figured any of us could put it on a dog and be consistent once we got it right. The…

Durable, works but should be cheaper.

I had Remote Dog Training PetSafe Yard & Park for my 60lb 1 year old lab pup. The trainer has a leather strap/belt that takes about 20-30 seconds to put on and take off. Standing still is not an easy task so I bought this quick release collar to replace the leather strap and solve this problem. The quick release collar met my expectations as I can put on the electronic trainer in less than a second. . The collar isn't the highest quality in the world but it's quite good as it seems durable and…
