Tires are measured in /32s, although 99% of the time tire space is wasting money there is an option for that measurement.

The only complaint I have is that the fraction function would be easier to use if it could round up to the nearest 32. Just because I'm lazy I guess. But converting different fractions to 32 of 64, 120, etc. is tedious.

I bought this because we have a lot of cars in the house and it's a hassle to take them from time to time to check them all, so it was this a good way to force it and save some money in time, it works very well. Just make sure it's 0 when fully deployed, then just check how many threads you need, especially if you're going on snow. Of course you have a much higher flow but yes it tells you how much you have and it already comes with some batteries to replace it so it's really nice.

The tire thread measured looks correct when tested with another thread depth gauge, but the product diminishes its value because its body is poorly designed. Being cheap plastic, it has 2 removable covers, one for the battery, the other which also removes some traces of the circuit board, but the user doc doesn't even mention what it's for, but an arrow at the top shows that it can be removed. one for the battery and then it fails.
